Suppliers going bust, reduced consumer spending and competition from online are among some of the biggest challenges facing the independent sector in 2013, according to merchants taking part in Harpers' Indies Uncovered research project.

Maybe you think competition from the supermarkets will be the largest barrier to sales, or perhaps supplier price increases are a real obstacle for your business? Whatever your views on limitations to future growth and opportunities for 2013, we want to hear from you.

The Indies Uncovered research, for the second year running, aims to be the largest survey of the independent sector to date. It covers every aspect of the indie sector, from categories in growth and predicted trends, to financial perfomance and merchant/supplier relationships.

If you're an independent wine merchant, all you need to do is fill in 10 quick, easy-to-answer questions here and be part of this groundbreaking project.

Results of the survey and a full analysis of the indie sector will be featured in a future independents-focused issue of Harpers.
