Logistics firm London City Bond has secured a contract with Chelsea based wine merchants, The Vintner.

The Vintner, established in 2010, has grown to a 10-strong team which supplies wine direct to restaurants, venues and private consumers.

Steve Selby, business development director at London City Bond, said the group was planning to expand its customer base. "Our Barking depot is ideally located to service the South East, and through our extensive transport network we are able to offer the highest quality service across the whole of the UK."

London City Bond is a dedicated wine and spirits logisitcs business, first set up in 1870.

It turns over in excess of £25 million, and operates more than one million square feet in tax warehouse facilities and offers nationwide distribution to 900 plus wine and spirits merchants, private clients and drinks producers.
