French wine marketing agency Sopexa UK has launched a competition where entrants can create a virtual vineyard and win a trip to France.

The competition, Trick Your Friends, which runs alongside its Wines With Style campaign, allows entrants to trick their friends into believing they have bought their own French vineyard, using film and photo footage.

Entrants can personalise their video - the one with the most hits will win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the vineyards of France.

The competition, which is currently live until July 31, is aimed at making French wine more accessible to consumers in a "light-hearted way", said Steve Abrahams, account director.

"The idea is to create an online buzz, from a modern mechanic, where people can have a bit of fun."

The Wines With Style campaign will run over a three-year period and represents part of a wider European campaign funded by FranceAgriMer, the French organisation responsible for supporting France's agricultural sectors.

The aim is to demonstrate the diversity and accessibility of French wine. For more information visit wines-with-style.com.
