Sailor Jerry to open gallery and bar

Published:  11 April, 2012

Rum brand, Sailor Jerry is to open a new concept venue later this month, that will double as a gallery and store by day, and gig and dive bar by night.

As a homage to tattoo master Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins, Hotel Street (120-125 Charing Cross Road) is named after Honolulu's infamous Hotel Street District where Collins' made his name.

The venue which opens from April 19, will bring rum, clothing, music, film and the original art of the tattoo master, plus every week, Hotel Street will be transformed into a rock n' roll and punk music venue.

It is open Tuesdays to Sundays from midday to midnight, and will serve Sailor Jerry Spiced cocktails.
