WINE, 150 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE

Hardys is set to celebrate its 150th anniversary by unveiling the bottle design of the future' at Vinexpo in June. The Australian wine brand, now part of Constellation Wines, has commissioned graphic artists from London's leading art and design college, Central Saint Martin, to design wine packaging 150 years from now - Vintage 2153'. Students have been asked to base their designs on current trends as well as their interpretation of how wine will be in 150 years' time. Students will design bottles for red and white wine, with the most innovative and plausible designs being made into prototypes.
