Cellar Trends' Paul Hollis dies

Published:  26 October, 2011

Paul Hollis, prestige account manager at Cellar Trends, passed away in his sleep on Sunday following a short illness.

Hollis started his sales career with the Matthew Clark, spent time with Remy & Associates, Lanson and for the past ten years Cellar Trends. A Freeman of the City of London, he was planning to retire in early 2012.

Martin Watts, managing director of Cellar Trends said: "We will all miss Paul greatly. We remember his sales professionalism, his unlimited enthusiasm, his humour, his musicality (did anyone know more about the music of the 50's and 60's than Paul?), his twinkle toes on the dance floor and above all his "bounce back" characteristics in dealing with sales directors, managers and customers over the years. Paul is a great loss but the good memories of Paul will live forever. A legend has left us."

Paul leaves a wife, Theresa, two children, James and Samantha and two grandchildren.
