For an ambitious, positive and hardworking sales person we have the position available of 'Regional Manager' to oversee existing customers but with a key emphasis on developing new business among Wine Merchants, Wholesalers and Brewers. Sales experience gained from within this channel is a minimum requirement and we would encourage applications from throughout the UK.

For an ambitious, positive and hardworking sales person we have the position available of 'Regional Manager' to oversee existing customers but with a key emphasis on developing new business among Wine Merchants, Wholesalers and Brewers. Sales experience gained from within this channel is a minimum requirement and we would encourage applications from throughout the UK.

Condor Wines is a successful independent business renowned for its specialty in wines from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay and work directly with 12 leading wineries which represent the key varieties, regions and price points. We are becoming increasingly recognised as a key supplier within our channels and were finalists at the Harpers Awards in the category of 'Best New/Emerging Drinks Business'.

It is imperative that you demonstrate an ability to develop and sustain good relationships with customers, delivering on promises and communicating with clarity and openness. A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate 'entrepreneurial flair', so if you have a history of developing successful new business ideas, taking calculated risks, being proactive and remaining confident in new challenging situations, then we would be keen to meet you.

Essential:

? Self-motivated, ambitious, able to work under pressure and an ability to network with an outgoing personality

? Able to delight customers and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

? Good level of wine knowledge with WSET Level 3/advanced or more

? IT proficient to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable:

? At least 3 years' experience of selling within the Independent Off Trade and On Trade Wholesaler channels

? Experience of working with Producers/Brand Owners

? Sales experience gained from working for one of the larger UK based wine agency businesses

? Experience of managing customers in convenience, cash & carry, major retailers or grocers

? A genuine love of food and wine and life in general
